There is a preparation to start manufacturing airpods for export at Foxconn’s Hyderabad plant. The company plans to shift some part of its manufacturing in China. Manufacturing of the company’s wireless earphones in the country will be an important step in this. About two years ago, Foxcony approved an investment of about 400 million dollars for manufacturing airpods in Hyderabad.
Apple’s affordable iPhone 16E, launched in February, has started assembling in India. It will replace the iPhone SE introduced about three years ago.
